An absolutely masterful episode that deserves a 10/10 without hesitation. The animation and facial expressions are incredibly well done, and every emotion is perfectly conveyed, making each scene even more immersive. The reaction of Regulus' wives after Emilia's intervention adds striking psychological depth: they finally reveal that they never loved him, underlining just how little he understood about love. Re:Zero's lore once again reaches new heights, with a development of exceptional quality. Subaru and Emilia succeed together in unlocking the secret of the lion's heart, and in a key moment, Subaru uses the Invisible Hand to break Regulus' invincibility. This passage is made even more powerful when Emilia finally understands Subaru's hidden power and sees Geuse through him, a poignant detail that reinforces the complexity of the bonds between the characters. An epic episode that shows once again why Re:Zero is a masterpiece.
Yet another episode proving that this anime is nothing but an empty shell propped up by flashy animation. It's all style, no substance-just non-stop fights and over-the-top effects to distract from the fact that there's absolutely no story. Where's the plot? Where's the tension? The side characters are useless background props, and the MC? An overpowered god-mode character with zero struggle, zero development, just a walking power fantasy. It's pure spectacle, tailor-made for people who only care about 'hype' moments. But once the adrenaline wears off, what's left? Nothing. No depth, no world-building, just instant gratification that falls apart the moment you actually think about it. Strip away the animation and the fights, and what do you have? A painfully mediocre anime with nothing to say.
