The previous episode set the bar too high and was arguably one of the best episodes of the whole show and got me really optimistic about this season..... only for the show to follow up with this awful absolute trash of an episode, I would actually rate it 2/10 if I didn't genuinely love this show as a whole and also because kayla got some serious laughs from me (actually now that I'm thinking maybe Megan Stalter as Kayla lowkey deserves that emmy for best supporting actress more then Hannah Einbinder and Ava.....) speaking of ava, she's been the most unlikable she's ever been in this episode, seriously how could she be so enjoyable to watch last episode and now being an absolute pain in the butt! Besides her being ungrateful and rude as hell to deborah she was also just dumb- Deborah waited her whole life for this moment she definitely knows how to host her show better than Ava.. late nights are supposed to be fun little comfort shows to end the day with and Ava's here trying to make "art" like girl don't piss me off you're not writing an indie drama movie! And the audacity to get mad at deborah? I wanted to shoot her the entire episode.

Last episode did alot of great developments to the season and all of it was flushed down the toilet on this one! This just made all of that progress pointless, it feels like the people who made this episode didn't even watch the previous one. I hate how much I hated this episode because hacks has always been the best comedy series on the TV for me and I don't think it ever had an episode this bad. Idk how can they recover from this but I hope they will.
