I grew up in the 80's and these films are movies you can watch multiple times and still enjoy them. Ferris Beuller's Day Off is very entertaining. I'm sure teens can relate to some of the shenanigans in this film and so can some adults. A few other films to consider would be Fast Times at Ridgemont High w/ Sean Penn, Porky's w/ Kim Cattrall, The Money Pit w/ Tom Hanks and Shelley Long, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles all 3 featuring Molly Ringwald and other great actors. Heathers w Christian Slater, Winona Ryder and Shannen Doherty. Some of the things that occur in these films is utterly ridiculous but so very hilarious.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I won't say anything about it, so as to not ruin it for anyone that hasn't watched it yet. Let's just say I wasn't expecting it to go the way that it did. Great job keeping us engaged and not bored with the movie. We kept wanting to see where they would take it scene after scene. The cast was terrific, although I would have liked it if there was a little more to the parents roles. The lead character was played by a great actor. He did an amazing job with the role. The last 15 minutes were amazing. I truly hope there's going to be a prequel and a sequel that will be just as good, if not better.
