I am a fan of superhero movies but this is definitely one of the worst I've ever seen. I had really high hopes for it but it did not deliver. I admit it is visually good with decent cinematography and coloring but the story and the dialog seem to be written for children. There is absolutely no creativity in this film. It is a stereotype of superhero stories. There is too much superhuman stuff going on. You can't feel connected to anyone here. Everyone seems to be on board with everything. You feel like being dragged into a party where you know no one. None of the characters are relatable, or even interesting for that matter. It feels like you are watching the third movie of a trilogy having watched neither of the previous two.
I also believe the movie should be called "Everyone But Superman"! Weirdly, he doesn't appear as the main character. He doesn't have a great fight scene or do the important things. He's just there getting bitten up with a very poorly executed redemption arc.
Also, none of the jokes land. The movie isn't fun. None of the characters are funny, especially not the dog. It really tries to be funny but fails every time. I didn't expect this from James Gunn.

I absolutely loved this show from the very first moments of the pilot. This is what every cinema lover has been waiting for. The story, the comedy, the acting, the cinematography and every thing in the show is at its best.
This was a really good ending for the season. I cannot decide which was better; the comedy or the acting. Besides the main cast, the recurring roles were phenomenal. Bryan Cranston, Zoey Kravitz and Dave Franco have guaranteed some awards for themselves.
The Studio is easily the best comedy of the year. I really hope they keep making this show until we are sick of it. I think this deserves at least four more seasons.

I can't believe there is finally something this good on TV. Adolescence is absolutely brilliant in every possible aspect. The cinematography is obviously magnificent. It's not just the fact that every episode is a single continuous shot that makes it amazing but also the cleverness in the camera's movements which makes you feel present in the scenes. The tension is felt.
Then there's the performances; Stephen Graham who is one of my favorites, is great as always, especially in the final episode. His emotions felt pure. The rest of the cast are really great, as well. But without a doubt Owen Cooper (Jamie) is above all. He is definitely going places. His performance in episode 3 is probably the best I've ever seen from a child. He understood the character very well and portrayed it really strong. Doing an episode such as the third one of this show is a difficult job even with adults. Owen Cooper being able to pull that off is top notch acting and surely award worthy.
This is definitely among the top 10 Mini-Series I've ever seen and probably one of the very few that I'm willing to rewatch.
