This episode shall find its way to classrooms and museums. It breaks the heart wide open and hugs the tears out of what is left. I am grateful to the artists for making it and sharing it with us.
The audio was recorded when Duncan was in his earlier years of podcasting, and is the actual interview he did with his dying mother. Ward and the animation team hit it out of the park with their choices of imagery and tone, throughout.
It is fittingly the longest and final episode of the first season, and though I look forward to the next season, if all they were able to put out was this one episode, it would be an accomplishment the creators should be proud of.

Beautiful visually and in spirit. So much eye candy to consume that it almost distracts from the profound content of each episode. It is great for watching in bursts or individually, as each episode is its own self-contained psychedelic adventure for our protagonist. Recommend strongly.
