I liked it in parts, though it never felt like an all-out adrenaline rush. The racing sequences were shot really well, even if some maneuvers were too impractical, they did give the film its thrills. What didn't work for me was Brad Pitt, who just looked bored throughout, and the romance angle, which felt totally unnecessary.

The biggest letdown was the music. Hans Zimmer usually elevates films, but here it felt flat and forgettable. Honestly, it gave me the vibe of Top Gun with F1 cars, but without Tom Cruise's energy. It also makes comparisons to Rush inevitable, and this one doesn't come close to that level.

Still, despite the void I felt, it's a good film, enjoyable, rewatchable, but never hitting top gear.

Honestly there's nothing to hate about it. The only catch is that it stays a little too true to the comics, which feels unusual after Nolan's Batman trilogy raised the bar for superhero storytelling.

This one feels more like a film made with kids in mind, and not so much for grown up audiences. If people are disliking it, I think it's just because they were never the target audience here.

Performances are solid, David Corenswet fits Superman well, balancing neither smugness like the old versions nor Cavill's constant intensity, and Nicholas Hoult along with the rest of the cast adds good support.

As a clean, bright, comic faithful Superman story, it works. Just don't expect Nolan level depth.

I liked it though it's not outstanding or something, but definitely not bad either, a good series overall. The mystery around Adele's past kept me curious, and the acting was solid throughout.

The twist was quite unexpected. Sure, a few hints were there, but the actual reveal still managed to surprise me.

What did get a little tiring, though, is Netflix's constant need to inject a homosexuality angle into every originals made by it. It feels like a forced narrative at this point, and here it even stretches into the absurd.

That aside, the series is enjoyable enough as a one time watch, and Bono's daughter looks really pretty in it.
