I think this episode takes advantage of Mace Windu's supposed greatness, something that the prequels don't. Sure his duel with Palpatine was good, but this episode is able to fully showcase his true power and badassery.
Now that this show is easily accessible on Disney+, there's no excuse to not watch it. Star Wars fans, especially fans of The Clone Wars and the prequels, will absolutely love this. There are a few rough patches throughout, but overall it's worth the two hour runtime. I'd suggest you watch it like a movie rather than episodically, Disney+ set it up like that anyway.
