"Head of State" definitely had its highs and lows, but overall? I had a great time watching it.
Let's talk action - the movie delivered some genuinely slick, well-executed sequences. You'll get your adrenaline fix, no doubt. And the humor? On point. It didn't try too hard, and the jokes landed more often than not, especially with Cena stepping out of his usual Super Cena persona (finally!).
Speaking of John Cena - his performance had moments that clicked and others that felt a bit like he was just going through the motions. You could almost see him thinking, "Do I have to flex here or act?" Still, it was refreshing to see him take on a comedic role again - and when he commits, it works.
Now let's get to the scene-stealers: Idris Elba - as always - brought that smooth intensity and charisma. Dude never misses. And as an Indian viewer, I gotta say Priyanka Chopra is aging like fine wine and totally nailed her role. In fact, there were moments where she overshadowed Cena - and I'm not even mad about it. She brought gravitas, charm, and that international flair that gave the film extra weight.
That said, the plot did play it a bit safe. You can probably predict where it's going 20 minutes in. But honestly? That didn't stop it from being a solid popcorn flick. It's the kind of movie you enjoy for the vibe, the chemistry, and the style, rather than some mind-blowing twist.
Final Verdict: Head of State might not break new ground, but it's got enough punch, humor, and standout performances to keep you hooked. Fun, flashy, and at times surprisingly heartfelt - definitely worth a watch.

All this wait & hype, build-up from post credit scene of 1st part to serve this? I mean, yeah the action scenes were great, the storyline seemed pretty good too since the begining but as we kept going we just got served same old thing which we got in last part. Introduction to new characters was 'how do i put it...' i guess the most subtle word I have is 'Under-Utilised'. I seriously had a lot of expectations from the movie coz I actually loved 1st part but this isn't what anyone of us were expecting it to be. This is some half baked dish served to do a fan service I guess? They could've done alot better.
