Even though the series might take a bit of time to settle in at the beginning, it's definitely not one you'll get bored with. After a bit, the pace picks up quite a bit, which I personally loved. Something else I really appreciated was the subtle humor; it actually made me giggle a few times. You might notice some editing or audio that feels a bit cheap at times, but the fact that it still manages to make you feel tense and disturbed shows how strong and realistic the atmosphere is. The plot and dialogue might seem a bit empty or slow at first, but trust me, it's just taking its time to unravel. Things get pretty confusing later on (especially around episode 8), but in a good way. The acting definitely plays a big role in that too; honestly, it's spot on, always making you share the emotions with the characters. There's also plenty of suspense and good ideas that keep you hungry for the next episode. So i would totally recommand this series if your seeking for a bit of plotwist and thrill.
As an F1 fan, I'd say this racing movie is just okay. Visually, it's great; shots are awesome, the transitions are smooth, editing is subtle but effective and the soundtrack fits well. The plot is pretty simple but gets the job done and it's accessible even for non-F1 fans since they explain key terms and keep the racing easy to follow, mostly by focusing on ApexGP. That said, if you actually watch F1, you'll spot quite a few inaccuracies; some moves and moments just aren't realistic, which takes you out of it a bit. It definitely feels like an American movie, with the usual over-the-top exaggeration and acting. Also, in my opinion the love story felt unnecessary and honestly did more harm than good when it comes to how women are portrayed in the sport. Still, I really enjoyed the ending; it felt more grounded, emotional and actually got me invested. And it was obviously awesome to see real drivers take part in the film.
I think this series got forgotten way too quickly. One of the first things you notice is the really dark vibe and color palette, but also how each episode is filmed in one continuous shot. That alone makes you feel like you're right there in the moment, and it adds a whole layer of realism. Plus, it's all raw footage; no editing, no music. It genuinely makes you feel every emotion, which are super intense from start to finish. You also get to follow different characters' points of view, which helps you form a more complete opinion on the situation. We definitely need to talk about the acting too; it's honestly perfect. Every emotion and reaction feels real from every single character, especially the kid. And what's crazy is that it was his first ever role. He crushed it. What surprised me the most is how realistic it feels overall. We're so used to watching shows with over the top plot twists and wild outcomes, so you keep expecting that, but it doesn't happen. In the end, it's just a situation that could actually happen, and probably already has in real life. And I think that's the whole point. We usually watch shows to escape reality, but this one brings you straight back to it. It sends powerful messages and shows how real situations and emotional distress need to be taken seriously, because if they're not, the outcomes can be devastating. And I'm not just talking about the main plotline.
