To start off, I have to say that I'm not as big a fan of the original as most people are. While I did find it amusing, I didn't see it as the all time classic that many people did. That's fine, to each their own.

Having said that, I didn't go into this with high expectations. With that caveat, I have to say that I laughed quite a bit during the movie. In fact, I actually laughed more during this one than I did during the first movie (which I re-watched just before this).

While I'm not saying it's better than the first, I can say that I did find it quite funny - and it didn't seem like the tired cash grab sequel that that I've seen many times before, with nostalgia being the main thing on offer.

I watched this with a couple buddies and we all thought it was great. It's not the kind of movie you think too deeply about, but just sit back and enjoy how it keeps getting more and more bonkers. Intense action, and some good comedy thrown in.

Yes, there are similarities to a certain Brad Pitt movie but set on a plane instead, but I didn't see that as a bad thing. Both movies are enjoyable for what they are.

It's a shame that this didn't get wider distribution or exposure, because it was a damn fun ride!

The poster said "funniest film of the year". I don't know if that critic got paid, or just has a really weird sense of humour. There were a couple moments where I chuckled, but there are WAY more funny movies out there.

The two couples' lives and relationships are a mess, and I didn't really connect with any of them.

I thought it would be something good like "I Give It a Year", but no, it wasn't nearly as good as that. In the end they needed to wrap up to story so they slapped on an ending. I could only think "what did I just watch and why?" Not the worst movie I've seen, but no good either.
