Also wrote dialogue for 49 episodes of the NZ television serial "Shortland Street" amongst other South Pacific Pictures drama series and did stand-up comedy beginning at "Sweetwaters" Rock Festival. Due to the dearth of live comedy in Auckland and indeed NZ, she immediately began producing and featuring in comedy shows in Auckland the first of which was "Just Joking", at Blondies Cafe in Auckland and other venues. This led to the involving of audience members in joke spots which led to the establishment of "Funny Business" and "Fanny Business" the female answer to the male dominated comedy scene in Auckland. Fanny Business evolved into "A Girl's Gotta Eat" which packed out Auckland's pub and rock Venue "The Gluepot", (The Ponsonby Club Hotel) in Ponsonby once a month.
