The competition is very keen, but a man who can handle a rope well, ride, and has a good disposition can make a living in pictures. It's much more pleasant being a cowboy in motion pictures than on the ranch or range. I would advise all the cowhands back in the hills to come to Hollywood and let the younger generation handle the cows back there awhile.
