Inuk athlete, actor and educator. He has 20 years' experience competing in and coaching traditional Inuit sports. He comes from Igluligaarjuk (also known as Chesterfield Inlet), on the coast of Hudson Bay in Nunavut, Canada. He grew up traditionally out on the land, hunting, fishing and camping. He attended Nunavut Arctic College, where he studied tourism, guiding and environmental technology.
