As a child Amanda always wanted to be an actor, but her family was initially uneasy about this decision and told her to focus on other subjects. Not wanting to disappoint her parents, Amanda entered college with pre-med as her major. As the years went on, she auditioned for the local improv troupe "Schrodinger's Cat" and was able to develop her acting skills at Le Chat Noir, a local indie theater in Downtown Augusta, GA. She eventually changed her major to a General Biology degree (mostly because she had already taken the core classes) and graduated in May of 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. In October 2014 she started working for Reflecting Pool Productions as a Project Manager and has been vivaciously pursuing her acting career with full support from her family and friends.
