Spanish comedy set in Menorca Island , Balearic Islands , containing emotion , humor , fun , amusing situations , nice players and paying tribute to to the idyllic island of Menorca . Director and main actor Fernando Colomo delights us with this semi-selfbiographic fiction film. An attractive and marvellously cheerful comedy dealing with Fernando (Fernando Colomo himself) arrives at the island of Menorca invited by his friend Miguel Ángel (Miguel Ángel Furones) and there he meets some villagers and then rents as a lodger at a countryhouse . Fernando is an advert spots filmmaker and has a few money as well as a love of filming documentary . He's soon the center of attention of the young Olivia (Olivia Delcán) who receives prosaic advice from her sculptor mother Nuria (Nuria Román) . His objective is enjoying an amusing holiday and shooting , while Olivia decides to guide Fernando in the ways of the village and she sees him as a father figure who never had . Thing go wrong when Fernando attempts to seduce Nuria and is subsequently rejected .

Pleasant and decent Spanish comedy along with some drama elements , being efficiently directed by expert comedian director Fernando Colomo . This comedy contains a romantic love stories , social habits , humor , entertainment and including brief nudism when starring baths nude herself . This is a slightly funny film with entertaining events , giggles , emotion , enjoyable romances and touching scenes at its final part . The film moves in fits and starts most of which would be desirable , with more traps the viewer resists any kind, and some moments of enjoyment and others quite a few embarrassing with some absurdities and implausibilities . The flick gives a short description about rural lives in the lonely island of Menorca in which our starring Fernando gets embroiled in the comedic misfortunes of various of its inhabitants , along with another protagonist Olivia who has lost all understanding for loving relations , as she just ended an affair in order to start a real relationship, but no sooner had it began than this also finishes . This is a typical Spanish comedy from the 2000s with the usual ingredients such as agreeable humor , villagers customs and relationships among people . The roles in this film are all lovable despite being rather pathetic and unfortunate . The flick attempts to spread optimism about the events of life , friendship and love , with its amusing sides but also including some risks . The film deals with the relationship between Spanish and foreign youth , including language problems , a topic also treated by the director in other films such as ¨Linea Del Cielo¨ , ¨Efecto Mariposa¨ , ¨Al Sur de Granada¨and ¨Los Años Barbaros¨ . Sympathetic performances from protagonist duo who provides a considerable boost to the result , such as Fernando Colomo as the pensioned advertisement filmmaker who moves into a guest house while becomes involved in silly misadventures, Olivia Delcán as a teen beauty who's the daughter of a sculptor well played by Nuria Román and Miguel Ángel Furones as Fernando's intimate friend . And a remaining support cast providing likable acting . A well acted, so so crafted, movie that should be considered as a return in form to the typical Spanish comedy of yesteryear .
