Anecdotes
Although "The Cartoon Adventures of Major Mars" looks like an authentic 1960s TV show, it is actually a new cartoon created in 2008 as a parody of another parody, "The Further Adventures of Major Mars" created by Bob Burns and Glenn Johnson in 1975. When writer-director Joe Sikoryak was searching for an appropriate toy for "As Seen On TV!" he remembered that a Japanese fan had already created a small resin model of the character, and the script was re-written to suit.
