Des plans sur la comète

The title means :" to build castles in the air". Frank , a working man , gets a crush on Inès:he tells her that he has traveled around the world ;in fact he wants to impress her ,for all his trips were only in his head . Michel -he and Frank work as a team - is also in love with a real estate agent.

Inès works as a clerk in a "do-it-yourself" where both pals repair a wall ;she hates her work and urges Frank to burglarize the shop :" I can stay ,find a hideaway and open the doors at night" .

Vincent Macaigne ,Philippe Rebot and Hafsia Herzi are nice actors ,but a good writer lacks ;the script is dismal ;also handicapped by a poor performance by Suzanne Clément ,whose hysterical scene is absolutely unbearable.

Could have been the contemporary "FrIc Frac"(1939) ;but a nothing screenplay cannot work wonders ,even with a good threesome.
