Coffee with D

This film had potential. The central plot was a unique idea and only the execution could have made it a fantastic film. Sunil Grover is a decent actor however he cannot run a movie on his shoulders. He is a exceptional comedian when he is playing an over the top and goofish character like Mashoor Gulati. Here he is struggling to play a serious character. He is caught up between comedy and serious acting. The dialouges are cringe worthy and hence you lose interest almost immediately. Zakir Hussian is a fantastic actor otherwise and he got the look of the character right. However he makes the character look like a caricature of the defamed Don. Pankaj Tripathy plays his part beautifully but again he is wasted in this miniature caricature role. Dippanata sharma is hot but she looks old. Anjana sukhani is past her prime. Movie finishes on a ridiculous note. Climax does not convince you.
