The Wraith Within is one of those home-made horror films.
And it's rather bad, in every conceivable sense.
The story is lame.
The writing is horrible.
The acting sucks.
And the wraith- who is a pitchfork wielding ghost of a murdered little girl- is even worse.
Most of the film consists of the cast of characters reliving their highschool drama, after returning to their hometown for a reunion.
While the plot revolves around a forcibly introduced teddy bear, which, apparently, harbours the angry soul of the dead little girl.
Who is out for vengeance...
With the only way to kill her being, when she has possessed a living relative.
Luckily, the whole thing is rather short.
Because if it was any longer...I'm not sure I would have been able to struggle through it.
It's definitely down there among the bottom tier of horror films this year...and, considering such, is certainly worth skipping.
I watched it so you don't have to.
Consider this my sacrifice.
