Right, well with this 2018 movie titled "Zombie World 2" being a zombie movie, of course I would eventually find myself sitting down to watch it, as I immensely like anything with zombies.
Turns out that "Zombie World 2" wasn't really a movie as per se, but more of an anthology of stories revolving around zombies in one way or another. And the stories or segments were definitely of different quality and interest. I can honestly say that only two of the segments managed to catch my interest.
What works for "Zombie World 2" was the zombie make-up, which was for the most part actually quite good. Not Greg Nicotero good, but good enough, and definitely better than what you see in most other zombie movies with the same level of production or budget.
The acting in the movie was adequate, although I can't really claim to remember one performance as being more outstanding than the others.
All in all, "Zombie World 2" wasn't overly impressive, and it definitely didn't bring anything new to the zombie genre.
My rating of "Zombie World 2" lands on a meager three out of ten stars. It was a zombie movie of sorts, sure, which did count for something, but the plots and storylines in the segments just didn't really work in favor of the movie. While I managed to sit through the entire movie, this is not a movie that I will be returning to watch a second time. Nor is it a zombie movie I recommend that you waste your money, time or effort on.
