Anecdotes
The story is based on a folk/fairy tale "A Trip to Heaven" from India, told by Leelawati Bhagwat. Finnish translation by Kaija Pakkanen is included in the Finnish language book "Aasialaisia kansansatuja" (Weilin+Göös, 1978), which itself is translated from the English language book "Folk Tales from Asia for Children Everywhere - Book Four" (Weatherhill/Heibonsha, sponsored by the Asian Cultural Centre for Unesco, 1976).
