Right, well I really wanted to enjoy this movie. Honestly, I did. But it was just impossible to buy into the concept of the movie, and the fact that it was so slow paced and monotonous, just didn't help sell "Kitty Mammas" in a good way.
I am sure that the concept idea behind the 2020 movie "Kitty Mammas" was seeming really good on paper, as written by Dennis Alexander Nicholson and Katrina Nicholson. But the transition to the screen painted a different picture, at least for me. I found this movie such a bitter pill to swallow. I just couldn't get into it and it was a struggle to sit through it, despite of having some talented actors and actresses on the cast list.
The whole storyline was just so far out there that it wasn't even making for a fun movie to sit down and watch. And I must admit that I wasn't enjoying the movie one bit, and I gave up on it with just 23 minutes left to watch. But by then I was literally ready to claw my eyes out of sheer boredom.
"Kitty Mammas" felt like a movie with no purpose or no real storyline. It felt automated and devoid of comedy. Sure, there were some nice enough acting performances by an interesting choice of actors and actresses, but the movie as a whole just didn't work out for me.
This was a massive swing and a miss from director Dennis Alexander Nicholson, and it is not a movie that you will find me recommending anyone spending their money, time or effort on.
My rating of "Kitty Mammas" lands on a three out of ten stars, based mostly on the casting list and their individual performances. But ultimately this was just not an entertaining or enjoyable movie.
