This was a TV pilot for a proposed TV series which was never made. In 1973, it was released theatrically in the UK in a double bill with Cliff Richard's 'take me high'.

Pretty decent for a lower budget film.

This title shows up once in a while on eBay as "THE LEGEND OF YOUNG ROBIN HOOD" because it was renamed that sometime in the 70's. I found this a refreshing change from the usual Robin Hood. I also recommend "A CHALLENGE FOR ROBIN HOOD". The plusses of these films is that they are shot in England around real castles.
