Fumo di londra/ Smoke over London is a visually entertaining film. It follows the adventures of Dante Fontana coming to London and trying to fit in however everything doesn't quite seem to go how he imagines it to be. The beautiful thing about this film is that it's very visual with the cinematography so the story is easy to follow if you don't speak Italian, the film also contains a bit of English. Dante's adventures are quite comical and mesmerizing from meeting the Duchess of Bradford to meeting the beautiful Elizabeth on the train, going to a mod party, partying, kissing young attractive girls & entering a youth fight between 'the mods and rockers'. Dante finds himself defeated and ends up going back home to his simple life with his simple family saying 'goodbye my London town'. It has a bit of a La dolce Vita vibe but way more entertaining. Love this classic Italian film, it warms my heart.
