Producer 'Dino de Laurentiis (I)' refused join the production because according to him any Italian would go to a theater to see a movie about doctors and diseases. The movie had the record at the Italian box office in 1968 beating Kubrik's 2001: L'odyssée de l'espace (1968) and Leone's Il était une fois dans l'Ouest (1968).

Good satire of the medical world

Satire of medics and hospitals where money is more important than people. Other great work by Alberto Sordi years before Michael Moore.

He did nothing but show the quarrels of the system but for this very reason it is funny because it exaggerates reality by causing laughter.
