The 1991 rock documentary "Truth or Dare (In Bed with Madonna") was filmed during this tour.

When HBO reran the special on July 28, 1991, it was an entirely different edit of the exact same concert featuring alternate camera angles galore. Additionally, the end credits were changed to scrolling credits which roll over a black screen, as opposed to the original 1990 broadcast, which featured static credits imposed over a fireworks show.

A Concert Before It's Time

I had the chance to see this tour 2 times in Philadelphia, PA and loved it.she had a pony tail during the US leg of the tour.And changed to Curly hair for the European leg like in this show in Nice,France.She performed hit's like express yourself,vogue,like a prayer and some oldies like a virgin, holiday and material girl and others. In this show she gives America advice to get a "sense of humor and to lighten up"...yes this was the bold and beautiful blond perfectionist Madonna at her best and on top of her career at the peek. we now know a much more toned down, motherly Madonna not as flamboyant as her earlier years. I thought this was the most amazing concert I ever seen to date! No one has ever toped this concert for me. The airing date for this show in France was Aug 5 1990 on HBO. This is the best concert Madonna ever put on !!! Anthony V Jr
