The movie starts off promisingly with some cinematography that leads to some fight scenes that you can actually see. But like all the rest of the low-budget kung fu films it devolves into action where the action happens out of frame because the camera man does not know how to operate a camera. The title says Bruce is supposed to be in it but instead of Bruce we get Alan. Alan, that is in the movie is supposed to be young but is instead played by a man who looks to be in his 40s. Also speaking of cinematography the cameraman is so incompetent that certain reaction scenes happen off frame. So maybe we are supposed to just imagine them?
Our star is fit and moves like an experienced martial artist but he lacks charisma and acting skills, which is in big contrast to the man the title refers to. It is like the makers of this movie looked at Bruce Lee and misunderstood why Bruce Lee is so popular. We - the audience - rooted for Bruce not because he is skilled in martial arts and/or ripped but because he made his characters relatable and motivated, not just walk from fight scene to fight scene. Speaking of characters, most characters in this movie - if you can call them that - are more like cardboard characters who constantly look for excuses to fight, including the "hero"! For example our "hero" walks into a restaurant/brothel and he rips some clothes off a woman and starts a big fight. The fight scenes are not even that good because you can barely see them.
The only kind of redeeming quality about the movie is that it can be used as a template on how not to make an action movie.
