An Asian man's daughter is kidnapped so he hired Detective Busty Brown (Laurie Dane) to get a job at the strip club of the man he suspects of the crime. Soon Busty is able to find the daughter but they might be in over their heads.

THE ADVENTURES OF BUSTY BROWN is another sexploitation film from director Barry Mahon who worked in various genres throughout his career. The version I watched was a shortened one that ran twenty-five minutes shorter than the full version so one should keep that in mind as they read this review.

For the most part I thought this was a decent enough film as long as you aren't taking it too serious. For the most part I found Dane to be fun in the title role as she certainly lived up to her name "Busty" and I also thought she managed to make the film more watchable. As with a lot of Mahon's films, the budget is obviously low but I thought he did a much better job than many who did the same type of films.
