Even the most sober-minded person would have to laugh

Written by William A. Thoden and directed by George D. Baker. Bunny is in love with his employer's daughter Flora, but when Ezra Wilson returns from the city in a brand new subway guard uniform, Flora is carried away with him and gives Bunny the cold shoulder. He goes to the city and becomes a recruit, but it is not all as represented and he deserts and goes back to the village and makes a sensation. The sergeant arrives and arrests him as a deserter, taking him away to break stones. Even the most sober-minded person would have to laugh at this picture. - The Moving Picture World, August 15, 1914
