Fred Claret: I beg your pardon?

Stud Perkins: I said "where you from"?

Fred Claret: Manhattan.

Marcy Perkins: We thought you were a tourist.

Fred Claret: No. I was born here in New York City.

Marcy Perkins: [to Stud] Okay, baby. You owe me five bucks.

Stud Perkins: I'll give it you ya later.

Marcy Perkins: You always say that. I want it now!

Stud Perkins: Jesus! Okay, here!

[places a $5 note on the bar counter]

Marcy Perkins: [to Fred] I won. He always gets mad when I win.

Fred Claret: What you win?

Marcy Perkins: The bet about you when you walked in. Stud and I always bet on people when they come into this bar. He bet you were a tourist and I bet you were a New Yorker. You see, what confused us is that you looked like you didn't know your way around.
