From its fake opening credits, pretending to be French, to its final end card inscribed "Fin" this XXX film is crummy all the way. It's been duly preserved for posterity by Something Weird on Vol. 46 of its Dragon Art Theatre series.
It's set in a bordello where the madam trades viewing of porn loops she shot with an old flame who shows her his (loops that is), as a threadbare excuse to recycle old footage. Nothing of interest happens until the duo get it on for old time's sake at the finale.
The madam is credited as Mimi Douché, an unfunny pun name the SWV hack manages to bungle on the DVD-R liner notes. She looks like a cross between Anne Bancroft and Amy Irving (!), but is mainly called upon to merely kill time with leading man Jake Teague while they (and us) watch their supposed handiwork as filmmakers.
The soundtrack is guaranteed to put one to sleep, as it plays the same Muzak version tunes over & over again, including "Sunny", "Reach Out" and themed to the title: "House of the Rising Sun". For nostalgia's sake the old loops offer very early glimpses of John Leslie and Darby Lloyd Rains, evidently shot before they graduated to feature film roles.
Given the film's later date (1976) in the early porn cycle, Mimi requests and is granted anal sex by Jake. It's Chinatown, baby.
