Eddie: [crying] It's not fair.

Tru: What's not fair?

Eddie: I wanna be done being different. I want to be the same as everybody else.

Tru: Eddie, Everybody's different, Not just you.

Eddie: No, Tru. I'm real different!

Tru: You know, you're right, but if you were just the same as everybody else, you wouldn't get all that special help in school...

[starts to cry]

Tru: and you wouldn't be allowed to rollerblade in the house, and... and you wouldn't be the... amazing... brother... that I love.

Eddie: What's wrong,Tru? I make you sad now? What's the matter?

Tru: Nothing.

Eddie: [Eddie wipes Trus tears with his coat ad gives her a hug] I love you Tru.

Tru: [sobbing] I love you too, Eddie.
