All the four main lead were in their early 20s . They rose to become big stars later . The girls are the daughters of stern matriarch Rajsulochana. She keeps them under tight leash and no groom is good enough for her daughters . the girls one day sneak out taking advantage of her absence. they come across two petty pick pockets Karthik and Suresh . A lot of skin show and a few duets later they fall in love . Their mother ,upon her return comes to know this and arranges their marriage with 2 princes . The false princes turn out to be Karthik and Suresh. She realises her mistake during their engagement and stops it in time . Some action , drama , sentiments later all become swell . The back ground setting is opulent showing off their rich status . Rajasulochana looks resplendent in her silks and jewellery . Both the girls are cute and dress alike in frocks or shorts. Karthik and Suresh act, dance and prance well. Their bell bottom pants remind you of the earlier generation . Goundarmani and Kalapatti Singaram provide comic track as constables trying to arrest these pick pockets. A light family movie .
