Kamal is the carefree son or a rich man with many friends . He is engaged to Shobhana his father's friend's daughter. A duet follows.
When his father dies , predictably all his friends wither away . He soon finds himself without any money or support. He is also caught in a false murder case .
In jail , Shobhana comes to say that she is getting married to some one else on her father's insistence . Sad but practical, He resigns to his fate . Very soon in a filmy fashion he gets out of jail and starts taking revenge on every one who turned against him. Geeta is his father's friend's daughter.
She joins him in his endeavors .
Over all a predictable movie .Shobhana has a very small role as his first GF. Geeta with her tall heavy figure does not suit the role of a demure heroine . Its not easy to take Kamal as a revenge taking action hero. He is more meant for soft family roles. Veterans like Thilakan and Sukumari are all wasted in small miniscule roles.
