Considering that I have written over 4000 reviews (wow) and this is only the second time I can remember putting the word "freakin'" in a summary, this must be some film. While it was nominated for an Annie Award, I am actually very surprised it didn't receive more notice as it's among the finest shorts I've seen in recent years--and is a bit reminiscent of one of the best children's' books, "Mr. Bump", by Roger Hargreaves. I am also very surprised that this film so far only has a rating of 6.4! So why did I love this film? Well, the animation style was while not the best I've seen, was exceptional and different. But more importantly, the story was exceptionally well-written and charming and had a liberal does of humor thrown in for good measure. Plus, like Mr. Bump, the story has a great object lesson. See this film!! See it NOW!! And then, vote for it on IMDb--it needs and deserves your support!
