- AnecdotesThe "bunny song" from VeggieTales: Rack, Shack & Benny (1995) had turned out to extremely popular when it wasn't supposed to be, as it taught children bad manners which were against the message of the show. For this reason, when this video came out, the bunny song segment was redubbed to encourage better manners and ways of living.

Having been told about this by most of my friends, sent samples and even looked up the lyrics, I was ready to be impressed when I eventually borrowed the tape.
First of all, don't expect the program to make sense, or to be serious. The title says it all- these are silly songs, not modern psalms. A dancing cucumber (see how gracefully he moves!) and a tomato called Bob cannot be taken seriously anyway, so if you aren't silly yourself you probably wouldn't enjoy this.
However, many of the songs do have a point, and get the message across very well. And so what if half the cast can't sing in tune- it's a singalong: drown them out! And, most importantly, it's hysterically funny. Larry is a sweet, ridiculous cucumber who always seems to get things wrong. Bob tries to make sense out of everything, without much success. Add to this duo a lost hairbrush, a chocolate bunny and Pirates who Don't Do Anything, and you have a fun, lighthearted film.
