Sinchronicity

English people have a habit of surprising me when it comes to TV program. Because contrary to the US censorship against sex, violence and stuff, English series feels a lot more open. Sinchronicity is the best example of the deconstructed narrative structure, the virtuosity of the actors, the honesty of the topic you can only find on BBC.

Honestly, if you enjoy Sex & the City, forget about it ! There is not a single actor there measuring up to the cast of Sinchronicity. The short format helps a lot: No need to try being clever every week when you're doing a 6-episode series. So it's dense, funny, sexy (Jemima, I love you!), complex, tender, sometimes completely abstract and really funny (yeah, I know, I wrote it already but British humor kills me). Every little detail is perfect, and honestly, I've never had more fun with any other show.

In short : This show kicks monkeys' ass ! Watch it, buy it, do something but don't die without having seen it ! It's the best show about relationships, love and friendship ever made !
