A good poke at the industry!

I saw this short at the LA International Short Film Festival and I laughed my ass off... so did the rest of the audience. I found it very fitting for this short to be screened in LA in a crowd full of actors and filmmakers. The audience could relate at the absurdity of the casting situation. But for those who don't know the casting world, this paints a pretty real picture of how humiliating they can be.

The performances were great. A nice balance of physical comedy without being over the top. The lead actress did an amazing job. It screened in a block of 7 or 8 short films and it really stood out amongst them.

I don't know how you see these shorts outside of festivals, but there are some gems out there.
