I first heard this radio play adaptation of a book by Daniel Glattauer on BBC Radio 4. The afternoon plays are generally good but this one is excellent. The story of how a simple misplaced letter on an email address leads you on a wonderful story of love, betrayal and longing with an underlying passion that is beautifully played out and exquisitely delivered.
The story, told entirely through email, takes you on an emotional roller coaster of will they won't they drama. Each email keeping you gripped and desperate to hear the reply.
I won't spoil the ending but there is a sequal in book and radio adaptation that rounds the whole story off quite nicely.
