It starts with an attempted robbery. The iron palm defeats the sword. Father delivers the package to his son played by Peter Yang Kwan who must then deliver it elsewhere. Cut to Chang Ching-Ching interferes to prevent a girl from a beating. She passes by Peter. A gang enters the tea house to rob him but he defeats them all.
Next he is leading an escort through bandit country and they are attacked. There is a long fight and Peter is almost finished when Chang Ching-Ching flies in to rescue him. She heals him up and they talk of the past and revenge. Unfortunately this is all in white subtitles in front of a white waterfall so much dialog is missed.
They part ways. Peter delivers the treasure box. He meets Chang Ching-Ching again but it is not here just a double. Really?
Cut to the town bully gets his comeuppance. The hero (Chiang Nan) is punished for his good deed by his father. He is forced to go and apologize to the bully in front of the family and that results in another fight. The hero is killed and his body dumped on his father's doorstep. Father gets his sword. He gets killed too.
Somehow this all comes around to Paul. He kills all but the last guy who requests three days to finish a personal affair. Revenge is so complicated when you don't know who your mother, father, and sisters are until the last scene.
The fights are about as good any others filmed in 1969 and they are long and frequent. Typical of the Taiwan films of this era the movie is a tad heavy on the drama. Overall still a notch above average for the year and genre.
