Many of the locations used for London, England are in fact shot on location in Glasgow, Scotland, including George's Square in the city center.

Gaffes
Patrick's accent is inconsistent as he pronounces some words like he is from the North of England and some like he is from London and some as though he has a "posh" accent. It gives away the fact that the actor is not a native Brit.

Cute and fun

I agree with some of the other reviewers: this is a cute and fun Christmas movie. Sure, it is a low budget made-for TV movie. Sure, it draws maybe a bit too much from other films. Sure, it gets the Brits all wrong. But it was entertaining, and I enjoyed it.
