For an amateur work it has a lot of potential. My rating is partly based on its potential, how impressed I was by some genuinely funny dialogue, and the heart of the actors playing the characters. Steven, played by the writer of the movie, represented people in real life that are overly cautious because we've seen too many scary movies (me, I'm that person). Uncle Buddy is the happy drunk uncle we all wish we had instead of the angry drunk uncle we actually have in our families. I thought it was going to be an anthology, but I'm glad I gave it a chance and will now torture my friend and family by forcing them to watch it with me as I tell them to not judge it by Hollywood movie standards, but by precocious child turned adult that got with his buddies to hammer out a movie with him every weekend they're off from their regular jobs.
