Anecdotes
In the story, Chrissa Maxwell was a fourth-grader. Samantha Hanratty, who plays Chrissa, was in seventh grade at the time of filming.

Gaffes
Towards the beginning of the movie, it's established Chrissa's first day of school was on a Friday. At the end of that school day, the teacher announces swim club permission slips were due the next day, which would be a Saturday, a day school is closed.

Chrissa stands strong

I have been bullied in the past too called names been kicked laughed at teased hit punched but I do love this movie. I felt alone hurt sad and miserable.
