Finding Me gives voice to everyone who has struggled with finding themselves, finding love, finding the value of friendship, and finding your way to stand your ground when dealing with parental pressure. I really enjoyed how the actors made the characters of the confirmed bisexual man, straight up heterosexual woman, and the slowly confident same gender loving man come alive. Everyone seemed so realistic and true to life. Everyone has a diva friend who thinks the world revolves around her and the mack friend that finds a hook-up around the corner. The set up seemed real as the lead character is encouraged to step outside and step to the cute boy at the bus stop and supported by his friends as the relationship grows. I loved the way the director allowed the story to evolve to show that love doesn't always end with a happily ever after. The settings be it the clubs, café, or the kitchen counter action were realistic. Too often LGBT films don't reflect situations as down to earth as friends bickering and come back together and realize sometimes you have to let go of the best thing you have found in order to move forward but Finding ME does.Can't wait to see the next chapter.
