An oustanding, sometimes funny coming-of-age film

In a glut of independently produced coming-of-age movies, Always, Lola if a breath of fresh air. I loved the performances, lived-in naturalism of the direction, and feel good story. Definitely worth checking out for the excellent up and coming cast.

I loved all the performances. Roxy as Lola was focused on a nuanced performance. Corrinne slowly revealed layers as the film went on. Sheldon was so vulnerable. Andrew is such a naturalistic actor. Candice was so willing to show a broad range of emotion. And Collin was HILARIOUS!

This is definitely the kind of movie that feels like a GREAT debut for Jeffrey Crane Graham. Excited to see what else he does!
