It was exciting to finally getting a glimpse of XE7 on the big screen at the recent Gulf Film Festival. He looks great! The look of the whole short was terrific. This is an impressive accomplishment for a small team working on getting this project going in their off hours. CGI animation is a very labor and processor intensive procedure of designing, drawing and programming, followed by long render times, and the 8 minute "Levity" has consumed every spare minute of the team for the last several months. It's great to see this task accomplished, but the real goal is to get the whole story of time traveling cyborg XE7 told, and hopefully this glimpse into his world will help generate the needed support and demand for that to happen.
"Levity" is just a brief introduction to the Xero Error saga, but one that intrigued and left me wanting to see the story unfold. I am quite excited about the possibility of more Xero Error shorts, but a full length feature for XE7 would be the most welcome. Ashraf and the Xpanse CGI team have proved that they are up to the task of creating an engaging and visually rich experience, and we viewers will be rewarded when they get to fulfill the promise that is exemplified in "Levity".
