'Sexy Wives Sindrome' is another latter day T&A flick from director Jim Wynorski under a pseudonym that follows pattern. Shot quick 'n cheap over a handful of days in a one camera setup with a skeleton crew. You get the boobs, simulated sex you expect but the format is beyond tired and harder to sit thru nowadays. This being no exception.
When women are having troubles in their relationships, sex life they turn to a private clinic run by a elderly professor & Dr. Anderson (Julie K. Smith). Curing these problems as everyone bonks spouses, staff, fellow patients while Dr. Anderson suffers from reoccurring flashbacks hinting at something sinister lurking beneath the surface.
Wynorski regs Smith, Frankie Cullen & Glori-Anne Gilbert are here yet again. Angie Savage, Cindy Lucas, Erika Jordan & Rebecca Love provide more boobage. The whole thing is just low energy merely going thru the motions. The story is hardly interesting with a bunch of fourth wall breaking, cringe soundtrack from Roobie Breastnut and barely able to achieve 80 mins.
The only reason I gave it a go - Julie K. Smith - has gained new tattoos since I last saw her in a flick and she gets to flex her acting muscle a bit more here than usual. Otherwise 'Sexy Wives Sindrome' was a snooze in every regard. Sad barely there story, boring sex. Meaning only those with rock bottom expectations will be satisfied by what's on offer here.
