Gerda Gilboe knew the Eliza songs well, since she already played Eliza Doolittle when My Fair Lady had its first stage premiere in Denmark at Falkoner Scenen, Copenhagen, at December 4, 1960. The production became a tremendous success. Other leading acts were Mogens Wieth as Professor Higgins and Osvald Helmuth as Eliza's father.
