Santa Claus: How are you coming along, Chippey?

Chippy: I let you down, Santa. I tried to make Taylor believe and it didn't work. None of it. I-I couldn't do it, Santa.

Santa Claus: No, you couldn't, and no scout elf ever could. You can't make someone believe, Chippey. All you could do is be there. The rest is up to them. Christmas is what we carry in our hearts.

Santa Claus: [hands Chippey Taylor's note] I think you should see this.

Taylor McTuttle: [voice-over on note] Dear, Santa. I was not very nice to Chippey. I think I may have taken his magic away. Please tell Chippey I'm sorry. Taylor McTuttle.

Chippy: [astonished] This-this is from Taylor? Taylor McTuttle?

Santa Claus: Ho, ho, ho! Indeed.

Chippy: [amazed] Santa, he-he wrote me. He-he feels sorry, and, Santa, this is amazing!

Chippy: [flying off after getting his magic back] I've got to get back to my family. See you soon, Santa!

Santa Claus: Ho, ho, ho! Go, Chippey, go!
