In the scene with High Elder Preacher Roberts, he is scene fingering an ornate book, presumed to be a Holy Bible, in actuality it is a copy of "Masterpieces of Mystery," edited by Ellery Queen.

Gaffes
When Elijah makes his climactic and thunderous exit, he has not been drinking a water bottle. However, in the split second after he departs, a blurry water bottle is visible.

Générique farfelu
The final credit of the film is "Summer is Coming." This is both a play on words in reference to the idea of a sequel to the film, which there won't be when one considers the ending (ie: "Coming This Summer"), and an oblique reference, after the subject of the movie, to Mark 13:28 in the bible.

Seinfeldian View of the Apocalypse

This movie feels longer than it is but I don't mean that in a bad way. I mean I was sucked into the world of the story and the characters and I didn't realize the time was passing or even realize it was a short film. I saw it at the premiere at the awesome Kala Eatery, during one of their summer movie nights. The whole thing had a very Seinfeldian vibe. All these dudes were talking about God taking over the world, but nobody was really acting any different and God wasn't really around much until well I think if I say anymore I'm a spoiler. I have to say if the budget on this was really $1500 they did an amazing job because that shot of New York must have cost more than that.
